French wine, food showcased in HCM City


A French Wine and Food Fair will take place in Ho Chi Minh City on October 22-23. 

The event, the first of its kind in Vietnam to be jointly held by the French Embassy and the Equatorial Hotel, will spotlight the best seven dishes and seven kinds of wine from different French regions such as AuA, Vins Descombe Vietnam , Daloc, Red Apron, Bacchus Corner and the Warehouse. 

Nha Trang to host international yacht race again


The central coastal city of Nha Trang will host the fourth VinaCapital Hong Kong-Vietnam International Yacht Race from October 20-24. The race is expected to draw more than 200 contestants from Hong Kong , Singapore , the Philippines , Australia , New Zealand and several European and American nations. 

Vietnam to open first international film festival


The first international film festival will be held in Hanoi on October 17-21, organised by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

On October 11, 90 films from 30 countries had been registered for the event. 

Da Nang to host int’l fireworks contest


A two-day international fireworks contest with the theme “Han River” will be held in the central city of Da Nang from April 29-30, 2011. Da Nang Authorities has announced the participation of four foreign teams including the Republic of Korea (ROK), China , Italy and the United Kingdom (UK) besides the host Da Nang team. 

The first Panama week in Viet Nam


Embassy of Panama is holding Panama Week in Ha Noi from November 1 to 6, 2010 on the occasion of 35th anniversary of diplomatic relation between Viet Nam and Panama.
The first event of the Panama Week is the exhibition named “Discovering Panama”. Opened in the morning of November 1, 2010 at National Library, the exhibition displays images of Panama and Panamanian people. The exhibition will open until the end of November 6, 2010. 

Mui Ne International Yacht Festival 2010


Mui Ne International Yacht Festival 2010 with the theme “Yacht - Sea - Sun” is scheduled to take place from December 8 to 11, 2010 in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province. This will be an ideal opportunity to advertise Mui Ne as an international centre for entertainment sailing.

Thai Nguyen to host International Tea Festival


The International Tea Festival will be held in 2011 by the northern province of Thai Nguyen and mark the development of the local trade promotion. This event is highly significant for the local tea enterprises to share experience with international partners and promote tea trademarks to the world, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
